greenschmoodle and he's been at me to go ahead and make a public post. Nothing freaks me out more than putting out my thoughts to the public-even if that public is in cyberspace and I'll probably never meet them. To me postiong my thoughts is like getting up in front of a classroom and reading something that I put together. I have no problems with reciting lines of a play or a poem that was memorized but something that I put together will make me hyperventilate and turn red as a tomato- this actually happened in college and the teacher had to ask me to sit down because she was worried. My friend Brian is actually trying to help me get over this.
Well I have not much to say so, I'm going to talk about an author that I've been reading for some time now and I love. I like romance books. There, I said it. While Romance is not the only genre that I read, I read and enjoy it.
I've been reading JR Ward for some time now and her latest book has me haunted. It's absolutely amazing. She delivers flawed, hurt heroes who believe that they are not deserving of love. I know, I know there are tons of books out there with heroes that believe the same thing but with JR, you feel their pain, their torment. With JR, you watch boys become men and you follow their growth, you experience their life as they experience it, you experience their pain as they experience it and you see how they try and get over it and the mistakes that they make in trying to get over it. These are romance books and that means that each book delivers their own individual happily-ever-after but each book is just a piece of a larger story being built. Did I also mention that my heroes are vampires?
Her books are not for the faint of heart-there is sex and tons of violence but they are worth it.
Going to check on kitty-who I think has the sniffles. poor kitty.
